Future Business Leaders of America is currently underway with a community service project. Simple in thought as it is, their hope is that the gestures will have huge paybacks.  A random act of kindness to anyone they know or even don't know.  Then the FBLA member will give this person a card asking them to:  "pay it forward".  When a random act of kindness is performed, then the receiver of the kindness is asked to do some random act for someone else.  The ideas for this project came from both the movie, Pay it Forward and Oprah.  FBLA hopes to enter this project in state competition later in the school year.
