Fri. May 7 – 3rd Grade trip to State Park for Bird Watching – 7-10 A.M. 

Fri. May 7 – 2010 Kindergarten Classroom Visitation Day – 8:00 – 11:00 A.M.- The current Kindergarten Class will not have school this day. 

Fri. May 7 – 1:30 P.M. dismissal – Boys & Girls Club open 1:30-5:30 P.M. 

Fri. May 7 – All Library Books are due back to school or payment made for lost books. 

Tue, May 11 & Wed. May 12 – 3rd Grade to the Dawes County Historical Museum – 10:45 A.M. – 2:45 P.M. 

Thur. May 13 – 4th Grade Nebraska Days Program in the East Ward Gym.   Mrs. Piercy’s class at 8:30 A.M. and Mrs. Cogdill’s class at 10:00 A.M. 

Thur. May 13 – Celebration for Kathleen Zahm (1st Grade Teacher) – who is retiring after 37 years.    Come help us celebrate – 3:30-4:30 P.M. in the East Ward Library. 

Thur. May 13 – Parent Science Night – 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. on the EW Playground.   Parents will be conducting Interactive Science Experiments around the playground.   Please call the school if you are interested in helping out or have a suggestion for an experiment.    The Entire Family welcome. 

Last Day of School – Fri. May 21. 

Camp Kenwood – June 3 – July 15, 2010 fro 9:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.   Sponsored by C-PRIDE, Boys & Girls Club, and Chadron Public Schools.  Stop by the school office for a form if interested.     The enrollment is limited. 

Dental Day is scheduled for June 4 & 5, 2010 – The clinic is free to people who are approved for the care – but preliminary exams and x-rays need to be completed beforehand. 

Lost & Found – Please check for anything you might be missing.     

Box Tops – Turn in by Fri. May 14 – so your child’s class gets credit.   Thank you.
