The team competed in Chadron on March 19 and in Banner County March 21.
Members of the 8th Grade Scholastic Team are: Back row, left to right: Zach Carratini, Coy Bila, Joe Matt, Nick Wordekemper, Sam Rischling, Jeff Cerny, Cody Madsen, Hunter Hawk, Front row: JashwaAlan Cummings, Mumbi Mwara, Aubree Noble, Brooklyn Stack, Drew Jersild, Beau Jersild, Brayden Richardson.
The team placed 2nd in Chadron on March 19th, losing the championship round to Sidney 100 to 105. They then took 1st place in Banner County on March 21st where Chadron earned 420 points, Sidney earned 400 points and Creek Valley earned 390 points.
Both teams will compete in the final quiz bowl competition of the season on April 4th at Gering.
