Recycle Bowl

Recycle Bowl (sponsored by Keep Chadron Beautiful) started Tuesday, Oct. 17.    This is the 4th year Chadron Public Schools has participated in the Recycle Bowl Competition; a month long challenge for schools to collect the most recyclables.   Please bring the following to school for recycling:

It's more than what you see from across the street

We take our learning at CIS very seriously.  We also like to make it fun.  Mrs. Schmidt helps students learn about geodes.  A geode is a round rock which contains a hollow cavity lined with crystals.
They even made edible geodes!  (no teeth were chipped in this experiment)

Professional Development - Sonday Training

Veteran Teachers- Mrs. Hoffman and Mrs. Anderson train other staff during our early out.

Sonday (Phonics Instructions) is very systematically structured, with detailed lesson plans that include time to be spent on each section. Multi-sensory techniques are used, and students learn to read, write, and spell, simultaneously.

It was a WONDERFUL Day!
