Principal Mack was excited to host another Cardinal of the Month Breakfast for students at Chadron Primary School. These students who were chosen by their classroom teachers were able to gather and celebrate with a special breakfast in the gym. These students go above and beyond following the Cardinal Way and set wonderful examples for other classmates. We are so proud of the kind, caring citizens you all are, keep up the GREAT work!

Chadron Primary School would like to share the safety protocols we have in place and review those with families. We work with the Nebraska Department of Education safety and security teams and receive resources from the i love u guys foundation. Thank you all for the patience and understanding you had during yesterday's "potential threat in the community". I was extremely proud of how quickly our staff reacted to the "Secure" that was in place and the calm nature that kept our students safe and well cared for. We appreciate all of the communication that came from Chadron Police Department in order for Chadron Public Schools to make decisions quickly and carefully.
Mrs. Landreth's class had the opportunity to go to Pizza Hut last week. While there, we were able to tour the restaurant, make our own pizzas and eat them. A huge thank you to Pizza Hut Manager Joe! We had a blast!
Chadron State College students came to Chadron Primary School to help with some updates to keep traffic flowing. The college students were a part of the Mini Big Event which is a volunteer day mirroring the Big Event in the Spring. The Primary School was lucky to have some gals help with painting designated vehicle spots for our Stop, Drop, and Roll as well as a striped area for pulling in to park.
Once again, Chadron Primary School was able to celebrate students who represent the Cardinal Way. These students were chosen by their classroom teachers and are setting wonderful examples for other students in our building. The students were able to celebrate with Principal Mack by having breakfast in the gym and being recognized by their teachers and fellow students. Congratulations to all of our Cardinals of the Month, we are so proud of you all!
