The Chadron Primary Family would like to give a HUGE shout out to Jeanne Mohr. She designed our new Chadron Primary Logo and we are so anxious to use it on so many things throughout our school. Thanks again Jeanne, your talent is AMAZING and we appreciate how much you still give back to our schools!!
There is some debate as to the lyrics of the Chadron Fight Song... After a bit of research this is what we have found:
On for Chadron (song is On Wisconsin)On for Chadron,On for Chadron,Fight on for your fame. We will victory, We will victory, A touchdown is our aim.(rah, rah, rah)
On for Chadron, On for Chadron, Fight on for your fame. Fight Cardinals fightAnd we will win this game.
I hope this helps our students and parents so we can cheer loud for our Cardinals!!
Chadron Primary School is happy to announce our annual "Battle of the BOX TOP$". Classrooms compete to see which one can bring in the most boxtops throughout the month of October. The winning class receives a treat from Mrs. Uhing and our school benefits by turning those boxtops into bucks at the end of the year. We have been able to purchase playground balls and equipment with the money we receive from this fantastic program. Please bring your boxtops in bags of 50 or send them with a student you know from the Primary building prior to October 31st.
Chadron Primary School wants to extend a HUGE thank you to the employees of Creative Dining Services located on the Chadron State College campus!! Creative Dining employees collected and donated school supplies to Chadron Primary and recently presented those to Mrs. Uhing. So many of our students will benefit from this AMAZING donation!! Thank you again for your continued support!

Mrs. Claussen-Smith's homeroom students have been working so very hard on following the classroom and Cardinal Rules, this afternoon they celebrated their success with a beach party. Students were even able to make their own banana splits! Thank you to the families that help support positive behavior in our classrooms and school and for the help you offer to make celebrations like this so memorable. Happy Friday!!
Chadron Primary was lucky to have a few AMAZING student athletes join some of our students for lunch!! Six students from Chadron High School's Cardinals Committed group came over to our building to eat lunch and visit with our students. First graders and kindergarten students were incredibly excited about meeting and talking with these "Super Stars"!! It was great to see these wonderful role models interact with our younger students and show examples of making good choices.
Mrs. Hendrickson's Language group worked on combining sentences and ended their language time with some journaling. The students really seem to enjoy a time to express their thoughts. Even after the bell rang, many students were still writing away! How exciting to see this love of learning taking place in 2nd grade!!
Mrs. Sandstrom's students showed their creative sides as they made fall tree pictures - what a FUN activity!!
Please be aware that the Main Street intersection will be closed from September 19, 2016 until October 20, 2016; please use alternate routes - THANKS and stay safe!

Panhandle Public Health teamed up with Nurse Patrick and Nurse Jenni to present the Scrub Club to our Kindergarten classes. The children learned about germs and healthy habits like sneezing into elbows and proper hand washing techniques. The students had a great time and a huge thank you to all that helped put on this wonderful presentation!!
