Updates to the Primary School Ramp to Help with Traffic!

Chadron State College students came to Chadron Primary School to help with some updates to keep traffic flowing.  The college students were a part of the Mini Big Event which is a volunteer day mirroring the Big Event in the Spring.  The Primary School was lucky to have some gals help with painting designated vehicle spots for our Stop, Drop, and Roll as well as a striped area for pulling in to park.

Once again, Chadron Primary School was able to celebrate students who represent the Cardinal Way.  These students were chosen by their classroom teachers and are setting wonderful examples for other students in our building.  The students were able to celebrate with Principal Mack by having breakfast in the gym and being recognized by their teachers and fellow students.  Congratulations to all of our Cardinals of the Month, we are so proud of you all!

Extended Spring Break for Students

Chadron Public Schools will extend the scheduled spring break by cancelling classes for all K-12 students on Wednesday, March 9th (originally a scheduled 1:30 dismissal day).  Chadron Public Schools will instead host a full day staff inservice training to host Dr. Melissa Sadin to train staff in the area of trauma informed schools.

Mrs. Landreth's Class Takes a Virtual Field Trip through UNL

Mrs. Landreth's class took part in a Virtual Field Trip with Morrill Hall on the UNL campus in Lincoln on Tuesday.  Before the field trip, we learned about animals (coinciding with our Science unit), their needs, how they protect themselves, predators vs. prey and facts about these animals' habitats.

Perfect Attendance for First Quarter

Chadron Primary School celebrated our students who had Perfect Attendance for the First Quarter of School!  These students did not miss any days of school for the entire First Quarter and we are extremely proud of our students!  We would like to thank the families who help to make this happen, we appreciate your support.  Keep up the GREAT work kiddos, it is a joy to see your smiling faces every day!
